The 2025 Best of SLC Awards season is in full swing, and the excitement is building! With thousands of nominations submitted, it’s clear that the Salt Lake City community is eager to recognize the best local businesses. Now that the nomination period has officially closed, it’s time to gear up for the next phase—voting!

What Happened During Nominations?

From small businesses to well-known favorites, the nomination phase brought an incredible response from the community. Your nominations, shares, and engagement played a huge role in ensuring that the best of Salt Lake City gets the recognition they deserve.

What’s Next?

Our team is now hard at work reviewing each nomination to confirm that businesses are listed in the correct categories and locations. This process ensures that every nominee meets the qualifications and is accurately represented before voting begins.

When determining the finalists, we take into account business size and number of locations. For single-location businesses, votes and reviews are tallied to calculate a final score. For multi-location businesses, we average the votes and reviews across all locations to ensure fair competition.

The official list of nominees will be announced in early February, just before voting kicks off!
